Daddy-O is one of the most popular and richest American rapper who was born on February 20, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York, United States. Glenn Bolton (born February 20 1961) is better known under his stage name Daddy-O is an American artist and record producer. He started his career as part of Hip-Hop group Stetsasonic together with Prince Paul. Over the years, Daddy O has been remixing along with musicians like Freestyle Fellowship, Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Living Colour, Big Daddy Kane and B-52’s, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
From 1994 to 1998, he was a Senior Director for MCA Records. After having left MCA the company, he was employed by Motown Records and various other entertainment companies in which he was able to create and discover talent. Other bands with which were associated are Sonic Youth, Sublime, Barry White, They Might Be Giants, Camron, Pizzicato 5 as well as Third World.
He was in 1992 when he recorded the entire album Nubian M.O.B. which was the self-titled debut album by the R&B group with similar name. The singer released his debut self-titled album on the same year, Can Be a Daddy but Never Daddy-O on Island/PolyGram Records. In 1993, Daddy-O recorded and performed in the song “Inner City Boundaries”, from the album of Freestyle Fellowship from 1993. Innercity Griots.
